Health insights

General information based on common public health ranges β€” not a diagnosis or medical advice. Always discuss any changes or concerns with your GP or clinician.

At a glance

HealthLog is a personal tracker, not medical advice. Always follow your clinician's guidance for readings, medication and appointments.

HbA1c (lab result)

Your long-term average from a lab/clinic blood test β€” usually checked every few months. Enter each result manually here.

HbA1c history

Based on NICE/WHO diagnostic thresholds: below 42 mmol/mol (6.0%) is normal, 42–47 (6.0–6.4%) is non-diabetic hyperglycaemia ("at risk"), and 48+ mmol/mol (6.5%+) is in the diabetes range. If you already have diabetes, your personal target (often 48 or 53 mmol/mol) may differ β€” always follow your clinician's advice.

Log a blood pressure reading

Blood pressure history

Categories use UK NICE home-monitoring ranges (Normal under 135/85, High from 135/85, stage 2 from 150/95) and reflect your recent average, not a single reading β€” a general guide, not a diagnosis. Follow your clinician's advice.

Types 3–4 (normal)   Types 1–2 (firm)   Types 6–7 (loose)

History

The Bristol Stool Scale is a widely-used general reference. Types 3–4 are usually considered normal; persistent 1–2 (constipation) or 6–7 (loose) is worth mentioning to your GP. This is general information, not medical advice.

Nebido injection schedule

Typical range 10–14 weeks β€” follow your prescription.

Sync across devices (GitHub Gist)

Keep desktop and phone in sync via a private GitHub gist. Create a token with only the gist scope, paste it on each device β€” it finds this app's sync automatically. Your token is stored only in this browser. HealthLog uses its own separate gist from FitPlan and IdeaPad.

Create a token β†’ β€” use a classic token, tick only gist, then copy it here. (Fine-grained tokens can't access gists.)

Data

All data is stored locally in your browser and (if connected) your private gist.
